Masca is a new vodka from artisanal distillery Bordiga.
Bordiga is an historical distillery whose production is very rooted in Occidental Alps.
That’s why we decided to play with the word “spirit” and link it to the traditional figure of the “masca”. According to the legend told in Piedmont’s mountains, the “masca” used to be an evil witchy woman who transformed into forest animals, and go around kidnapping children.
The label look is unusually modern for Bordiga, as unlike other products from house distillery, this is not an historical receipt but, on the other hand, it’s made with local raw material. The artwork for this label was painted by artist Stefano Allisiardi.
